Xinjiang Nonmetallic Minerals Xiazijie Bentonite Co., Ltd. is subsidiary of China Nonmetallic Minerals Co., Ltd.owned by China National Materials Group Corporation. It lies in Xinjiang Tacheng Prefecture and Chagantunge of Hobukesar County (Headquarter of 184th Regiment, 10th Division of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps) and is conveniently located, which is only 180km away from the city of Karamay, 18km from Hoxtolgay Station Kuibei Railway and 30km from Kuitun-Altai Highway. It covers and area of 266.4 thousand sq.m., with registered capital of 40 million Yuan.

公司具有可持續發展的礦產資源優勢，依托全國著名的儲量在5億噸以上的天然鈉基膨潤土礦，可年開采礦石為40萬噸。年生產鉆井液用膨潤土20萬噸；礦物油用活性白土2萬噸；食品添加劑活性白土1萬噸；球團用膨潤土5萬噸；膨潤土防水毯300萬平方米；其它膨潤土產品5萬噸；石油助劑類：年生產鉆井液用重晶石粉5萬噸、超細碳酸鈣1萬噸、鉆井液用鐵礦石粉3萬噸、鉆井液用石灰石粉2萬噸。

In virtue of the advantage of sustainable mineral resources,  relying on natural sodium bentonite mines with total reserves of over 5 hundred million tons, the company is capable of exploiting ores of 400 thousand tons and producing 200 thousand tons bentonite for drilling fluids, 20 thousand tons activated clay for mineral oil, 10 thousand tons activated clay for food additives, 50 thousand tons bentonite for pelletizing, geosynthetics clay liner of 3 million sq.m., as well as other bentonite products of 50 thousand tons every year. In addition, in respect of oilwell auxiliaries, they may also produce 50 thousand tons barite powder for drilling fluids, 10 thousand tons super-fine calcium carbonate, 30 thousand tons iron ore powder for drilling fluids and 20 thousand tons limestone powder for drilling fluids annually.

公司具有進出口自營權，主導產品鉆井液用膨潤土已出口中亞市場。下設兩家子公司，分別是新疆迪源泥漿材料有限責任公司、烏魯木齊中非通達物流有限公司。公司的技術中心為新疆自治區級企業技術中心，公司通過了ISO9001質量管理體系認證及GB/T28001職業健康安全管理體系認證，“夏子街”牌商標被評為新疆著名商標，鉆井液用膨潤土和活性白土被評為新疆名牌產品，2012年公司獲得自治區高新技術企業稱號，公司被聘為中國非金屬礦工業協會膨潤土專委員會副理事長單位。

    The company has Export&Import License, and the leading products of bentonite for drilling fluids have been exported to Mid-Asia. The company has set up two subsidiaries including Xinjiang Diyuan Mud Materials Limited Liability Company and Urumqi Nonmetallic Minerals Tongda Logistic Co., Ltd. The company has an enterprise technology center of autonomous district level. By passing through ISO9001 quality management system certification and GB/T28001 occupational health and safety management system certification, the trademark of Xiazijie has become famous brand of Xinjiang Province, bentonite for drilling fluids and activated clay being famous products of Xinjiang as well. In 2012, the company was entitled to be High-tech Enterprise of the Autonomous District and was listed as vice-council of Bentonite Committee under China Nonmetallic Mineral Industry Society.
